What is the, Biblical Understanding of the Church?

Defn of a church;A Church refers to a community of believers,who meet in a sacred place called a church for worship of God .

The church is a called out assembly.There is need to assemble in a physical place and have one on one fellowship with other Brethrens.

Philippians 1;1.

Paul and Timotheus ,the servants of Jesus Christ,to all the saints in Christ Jesus,which are at Phillipi,with the Bishops and deacons.

1 Cor 1;10 *

“Unto the church of God which is at Corinth,to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, Called to be saints,with all that in every place that call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,both theirs and ours .”

The Scripture says,”Do not neglect the assembling of Brethrens as it is the habit of some.”,

The church also is universal in nature.it refers to all believers in Christ all over the world.It is called the Body of Christ. Both believers in Christ in all generations.

Christ Jesus is the head of the Church .He is the one who laid down His life for it.He has not delegated the Headship of the church to any religious or secular authority including the pope of Rome .
